Sorry about the lack of activity on the website.  Inspire has been meeting for the last year once a month.  As of next month there is going to be a ringing of the changes as we look to the future.  More news will be forthcoming in he coming weeks….

Living for Today – ‘I have come to bring life to the full’

 

The next meeting of Inspire will be a cafe Inspire event on Thursday 16th October, 7.30pm at St. Peter’s, Victoria Road. Last month was very well received – all that was missing was you!

Come and relax, meet with God in a new way.

Be open to Him speaking to you – God transforms lives and brings joy out of pain, hope out of despair

Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Cafe Inspire – The Greatest Commandment

The summer break is over and things are back to normal with Inspire.  There will be the usual meeting on the third Thursday of the month.

This months theme is community as we look at the greatest commandments:

Love the Lord your God with your whole heart and love your neighbour as yourself.

The gathering will be in the form of cafe church so come down to Central Perk for your caffein hit and a blueberry muffin.

In-Spire: 17th July 2008: ‘Come to me all who are weary….’

Our next In-Spire meeting will be at 7.30pm on Thursday 17th July in St. Peter’s Church, (corner of Victoria Road/Rooms Lane, Morley). The evening will be based around Jesus’ saying in Matthew 11: 28-30.

We’re still looking to build a small team to plan and develop this new ‘event’ and community – feel free to post or email if you’re interested.

Invite your friends/colleagues/neighbours (and anyone who feels weary…) on the 17th and give them an opportunity to encounter Jesus and find rest.

I can’t believe how quickly time is flying.  I have added a few links to the side bar to give you some inspiration for alternative worship.  There is a phenomenal amount of information on the world wide web about alternative worship.  These links should give you some good food for thought and get your creative juices flowing.

A big thank you to all who came to Grace this evening.  It was fantastic to see so many of you there.  We were really encouraged by the number of people who stuck around for the coffee and discussion afterwards.

Inspire is all about the community worshipping together.  If anyone would like to be involved in the services in any way please let us know.

This Thursday is the first worship gathering of In-spire.  The theme is Grace.  Please feelfree to join us, all are welcome.

Welcome to the weblog of In-spire Morley.  In-spire is an emerging church community that is developing in the Morley area of Leeds.  The community is organising regular alternative worship events on the third Thursday of every month at 7:30pm in St Peters Church.  Hopefully things will begin to emerge from there…
